v1.7.1 to v1.7.3 (May 25, 2026) Recurring expenses, proposal and estimate templates, and connected bank accounts
A major Finance update that connects your invoices, expenses and bank accounts, and saves you from repeating the same work.
Recurring Expenses:
- Set up expenses that repeat automatically, like rent, software subscriptions or retainers
- Choose how often they repeat (daily, weekly, monthly or yearly, every one or more periods) and see a preview of the next run dates
- ClientCee creates each expense automatically on schedule and adds it as Pending for your approval
- Pause, resume or run a schedule immediately whenever you need to
- Summary cards show your active schedules, what's due in the next 7 days, and your total monthly cost across all schedules
Expenses:
- A new Add Expense page with a cleaner form
- Summary cards for total expenses, this month, pending approval and your top category
- One-click filters for this week, this month, this quarter and year to date
- Color-coded category labels so you can spot spending patterns
- A full approval flow: Pending, Approved, Reimbursed or Rejected, which you can change right from the list
Proposal Templates:
- Save any proposal as a reusable template, with an option to remove client-specific details
- Start a new proposal from a template, with the items, currency, notes, terms and discount already filled in
- Organize templates by category, see how often each is used, and duplicate them to create variations
Estimate Templates:
- Create reusable estimate templates with details, items, notes, terms, currency, tax and discount
- Start a new estimate from a template in one click, or start blank if you prefer
Connected bank accounts:
- Invoice payments are now recorded against one of your bank accounts, and appear in its transaction history as money in
- Approved or reimbursed expenses are recorded against a bank account as money out
- Your bank account balances now reflect your real invoice payments and expenses
- Bank account pages have a fresh design with a summary, recent transactions, a money in vs money out chart, and downloadable CSV statements
Fixes:
- Estimates now save reliably and keep your entries if something needs correcting
- Deleting an estimate from the Estimates list works correctly again
- Dropdowns on Estimates and Credit Notes now match the rest of ClientCee
