v1.42.0 (Sep 9, 2026) Recurring invoices, contract e-signatures and the project roadmap

A huge release that brings recurring billing, full contract signing, a company-wide project roadmap, and a refreshed design across Finance, Projects and HR.

Recurring invoices:

- Set up invoices that repeat automatically every day, week, month or year, at a time and timezone you choose

- Invoices due at month end stay on the last day of each month, even in shorter months

- Choose to create each invoice as a draft for review, or email it to your client automatically

- Set an end date or a number of invoices, and preview the next three dates before you start

- Pause, resume, end or duplicate a schedule, or start one from an existing invoice

- ClientCee never creates the same invoice twice, and if dates are missed, it asks you to review them instead of sending them all at once

Contract e-signatures:

- Share a contract with a secure link, via WhatsApp, email or anything else, and your client can sign it without an account

- Clients can type their name, draw their signature with a mouse or finger, or upload an image of it

- Signed copies can be printed or saved as a PDF, with a signature certificate showing when it was signed

- Clients can leave questions and change requests before signing, and you can reply to each one

- Keep a full history of signatures and renewals on every contract

Better contracts:

- A new contract editor with headings, tables, images, formatted paste and a distraction-free writing mode

- Renew a contract and keep a record of previous and new terms

- A redesigned Contracts list with summaries, filters for contracts ending soon, and CSV export

- Suggested contract numbers, custom contract types and projects filtered by the client you choose

Project roadmap:

- See every project on one timeline, by week, month or quarter

- Preview any project and its milestones without leaving the roadmap

- Filter by client, manager, status and category, and see overdue and due-soon projects at a glance

- Projects without dates are listed separately so nothing gets lost

Invoices:

- Choose one tax for the whole invoice, right beside the currency, instead of setting it on each item

- Save & Send now only marks an invoice as sent once the email has actually gone out

- A redesigned invoice page, with payment and delivery controls beside the invoice itself

- Record a payment directly from the invoice, and print just the invoice document

- Export all matching invoices to CSV, with totals kept separate for each currency

Proposals and estimates:

- Proposal and estimate forms now look and work the same, with a formatting editor for descriptions

- Save & Send on proposals now emails your client, and tells you clearly if email isn't set up yet

- Edit an estimate after publishing it, and your client's link updates automatically

- Signed, accepted and declined proposals are protected from being changed

- Export proposals and estimates to CSV, and download estimate PDFs from the list

Projects and tasks:

- A redesigned Projects list, project overview and every project tab, including files, milestones, tasks, task board, Gantt, burndown, tickets, notes, ratings, discussions and timesheets

- A new "In Review" column on the task board for tasks awaiting approval

- Filter tasks by project, priority, deadline and unassigned, with removable filter chips

- Labels, milestones and time estimates on new tasks are now saved correctly

- Add replies to project tickets, edit notes and ratings, and export tickets and notes to CSV

- Approved or invoiced time entries are locked to protect your billing records

- Deleting a milestone keeps its tasks in the project

HR:

- The HR home page is now a daily dashboard showing today's coverage, approvals, onboarding and upcoming holidays, with a setup checklist for new workspaces

- All HR pages are now in one tidy HR menu in your sidebar

- The workspace owner is now included in the employee directory and HR features

File Manager:

- Upload images and files up to 10 MB, with drag and drop, a progress bar and clear error messages

- Search and sort your files, with a storage summary at the top

Server Manager:

- A cleaner overview with an Add Renewal button in the header and a better calendar on phones

Billing:

- Clearer plan comparison, currency selection and a "Continue to checkout" button

- Saved card references now keep only the last four digits

Across the app:

- Icons now load reliably, even if an outside icon service is slow or down

- We removed a number of buttons and fields that didn't do anything yet, so everything you see now works
